Catch A Ride With Us

Midland Transit

Midland Public Transit is operated by Midland Area Agency on Aging in cooperation with local city and county governments to provide affordable transportation to the public.

Midland Public Transit was formed to break the illusion that our public transit service is only for the aging population. The public transit service we offer is sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Transportation, and our local communities, for all of the area's residents to utilize.

Scheduling Rides

We schedule rides Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm for any of our five mid-nebraska sites: Clay, Howard, Merrick, Nuckolls, and Webster Counties.

Extended hours are available for essential medical rides only.

We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice for all ride requests. We will try to accommodate all rides, but when necessary we may ask if you are able to modify times or dates to ensure a driver is available. To avoid this, you can give us a call for availability before scheduling with your provider.

Holiday Schedule

We observe most major Nebraska State holidays. If a holiday falls on a weekend, the friday before, or the monday after the holiday is observed, whichever is closest. Please keep this in mind while scheduling your appointments.
